J.N. Schafer Construction is owned and operated by Jimmy, a skilled builder with over 15 years of hands-on experience. Originally from Alberta, Jimmy moved to British Columbia to continue building his trade and established his business in the Fraser Valley with a focus on quality, reliability, and craftsmanship.
Today, the company proudly serves Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and communities throughout the Fraser Valley all the way to Hope. From decks and fences to timber work, renovations, and framing, every project is built with care, clear communication, and an eye for long-term durability.

Most decks take two to four weeks depending on size and complexity. We schedule the work and stick to it. Weather in the Fraser Valley can slow things down, but we plan for that.
We choose materials that handle the climate. Pressure-treated lumber, cedar, composite decking. We talk through the options and what makes sense for your situation.

We stand behind our work. Every project comes with a warranty that covers materials and workmanship. We build things to last longer than the warranty anyway.
